Implication of Applying IPCC AR4 and AR5 Framework for Drought-based Vulnerability and Risk Assessment in Bankura and Purulia Districts, West Bengal

Abstract In the districts of Purulia and Bankura, this study offers a methodology for spatial assessment vulnerable risk-prone areas. These are adjacent in space have identical geographic characteristics (other than eastern portion Bankura district). Vulnerability risk could be used to measure interactions between individuals their surroundings. This research aims pinpoint areas these two that particularly susceptible natural, social, meteorological disasters.
